You’ve wrapped up your school year and it’s time to wind down and get some much-needed R&R, but you don’t want that “summer slide” to impact your child’s reading habits. June, July, and August are perfect times to introduce fun and exciting (and perhaps slightly “easier”) books into the rotation. Stories that your child will love to read by the pool or while “bored” after the initial excitement of summer vacation wears off.
